I love this sweet piece, it reminds me of the 50’s growing up, Roy Rogers, my friend Flicka, Black Beauty, Thunder Head. Yep, on Saturday mornings I was in front of the old black and white TV, glued for hours.
My Grandpa Bert used to bring me those copper 1950’s Vintage Horses that were cast in metal that came with saddle bags of candy, I can tell you I was mostly impressed with the horse, the candy was a plus, more trips to the dentist, poor Mom… Good Ole Grandpa, he sure knew my soft spot.
