The 80’’ Necklace is done in Genuine faceted Veriscite, and Lapiz Gemstone Beads, Mojave Green Turquoise, Sky Blue, and Green Turquoise. The various cuts are, Rondelle, Tube and Round faceted and smooth cut beads. The super long Necklace is done in 14kt Gold bonded findings finished off with a 14kt Gold bonded 10mm toggle clasp.
The Huge AAAA Quality Lapiz Gemstone Pendant is done in Jewelers Copper with 9.25 Sterling Silver. This is a piece from the Jay King Gallery Collection. The Copper and Silver work is Excellent and the detail around the outside of the Lapiz gives it texture. The mix of Gold, Copper and Silver picks up the Gold flecks in the Stunning piece of Lapiz.
The Jewelers Copper and 9.25 Sterling Silver Cuff Bracelet will fit up to a 7 1/2’’ wrist, the Artisan Hand Crafted Navajo piece is detailed with classic hand stamping.
The Earring are 3’’ and are done on 9.25 Sterling Silver Conco Style hooks with Genuine Lapiz and Sterling Silver Bead accents. A perfect pairing to the Cuff and Necklace.
I purchased the Cuff to go with the Jay King Pendant which came on a Lapiz Bead Necklace, I of course wanted to add more layers to the look thus the 80’’ multi Gemstone and 14kt Gold bonded Necklace.
When I was a kid I would save my money from chores each week and have my Mom drive me to Rolling Ridge Ranch to take Ridding lessons. Mom said no lessons no Horse, so figure it out, I was all over it . Lessons were $2.00 a pop for 5 hours, and Mom always gave me a two Dollar bill to give to my Teacher Ada Brown.
She was a handsome, hard, strong, smart, true Horse women who taught us right from the ground up, and I will never forget the valuable lessons and Horse sense she shared with us each week My love for Horses got even bigger.
Dad said, the kid will forget about horses as soon as she she’s boys, Mom said, I don;t think so, the boy’s are always going to be last, it’s her dog the horse and then maybe, so don’t worry. Mom was right my Horses caused both of my divorces. No big deal. I told them both from the get go, if my dog and Horse don’t like you, you gotta go.
They don’t make em like Ada Brown anymore and it’s a damn shame, she was a hell of a Horse woman even with my very green 9 year eyes and 9 year old girl brain, I knew just how special Adda was. To this day I treasure my time spent at Rolling Ridge with Ada. I Named this Suite after her
